Who am I?
My name is Evangelia Nikolaou.
I began working at the age of 12, driven by a drive for independence and freedom. Early on, I believed academic success was the key to advancing in life, so I focused heavily on studying.
At 18, I decided to pursue a career in medicine. I moved to Germany, where I obtained the DSH certification in the German language, along with several medical subject certifications, while studying at the University of Saarland. Until the age of 21, I devoted myself to excelling academically, believing that fulfilling the expectations of a high-achieving student was the only path forward. However, I soon found myself feeling constrained and under significant pressure. Working non-stop for many years, I wanted freedom of time.
This realisation led me to reassess my priorities. I found the rigid academic structure overwhelming, and I didn’t want to delay my personal growth. Consequently, I quit medicine and started studying philosophy and media, a field that allowed me to integrate personal development with media education. I earned a First-Class Honours Bachelor’s Degree in Philosophy and Media from the University of Hertfordshire, followed by a First-Class Honours Postgraduate Degree in Philosophy from the University of Bristol. During my academic journey, I was recognised with awards, including “The Go Herts Gold Award,” a fully-funded Think Big Scholarship for my Master’s studies, and the Annual Dissertation Award.
In addition, I authored a poetry and philosophy book and took on the roles of publisher and project manager for a poetry anthology, which was produced through a competition organised by my company.

Since 2018, I have continuously deepened my knowledge in philosophy, psychology, personal development, project management, and leadership. I have facilitated 15 projects, including KA153 projects, VET internships, and pilot activities. Additionally, I have worked as a project manager or assistant project manager on over 10 projects, and I have independently developed two KA220 project application frameworks. I also managed a KA220 project in partnership with another country and worked as a researcher.
